Elena Garcés

BIOGRAFÍA

Elena Garces is a Technology Manager in SEDDI (Madrid). She leads the optical capture and rendering teams, bringing into production state-of-the-art research on appearance capture and physically-based rendering. After finalizing her Ph.D. studies in 2016, she was a Postdoctoral researcher at Technicolor R&D (France), working on lightfields processing, and later, at the Multimodal Simulation Lab (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid) with a Juan de la Cierva Fellowship. Her research interests span the fields of computer graphics, vision, and machine learning.
